About Us

At Snug Cafe we love real, homemade food. We aim to serve our customers the best coffee locally roasted. Our teas are some of the best loose leaf teas from an independent brewer called Brew Tea Company. We serve the freshest sandwiches and imaginative scrumptious homemade cakes from old and new recipes. Our light lunches offer homemade quiches, sausage rolls (with Garnetts pork), homemade soups, baked potatoes and all day breakfast rolls. Our milkshakes use fresh fruit and ice-cream and we have a children’s mini menu.  Our ingredients are sourced as locally as possible our cooks regularly use Garnetts reared rare breed pork, Wares Farm reared beef and local free range eggs from Warders hens all within The Easters.

Our breakfast has become something of an institution these days where you can let the smell of freshly ground coffee waft over you as you enjoy a full English as the perfect start to your day. At Snug Cafe you’ll enjoy the buzz of a meeting place that is the hub of the community, and not a greasy spoon.

Our menu changes quarterly to take advantage of local seasonal fresh ingredients. Along with our breakfast menu that ends at 11.30am, in the afternoon you’ll find us serving all manner of homemade cakes, cream teas and sandwiches, so there’s no excuse not to pop in after a bike ride, walk or country tootle. With our readily available free wifi it’s good to get some research or work done too with a delicious drink. Or now with our drinks license you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer.

As of February 2016 we will be opening the first Saturday in each month in the evenings offering a seasonal brasserie type menu with a selection of wines and beers. Our menu will change quarterly as the seasons change.

We welcome large groups (we often have cyclists, walkers and mother and toddler groups turning up). We also can be booked out for private parties in the evening with prior notice. Or just book a table with us to be safe than sorry.
